Interpreter invoice calculator
Work out the billable time and total for one assignment: hourly, minimum block or flat fee, plus mileage and parking. It runs in your browser and stores nothing.
Type your own numbers. Nothing is pre-filled, and we do not suggest a rate, a minimum or a per-mile amount: those come from your agreement with each client.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, saved or stored.
How it counts
- Time worked is the end time minus the start time, to two decimals (hundredths of an hour). If the end is earlier than the start, it is treated as overnight, so 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM is 3.00 hours.
- Hourly: time worked × your rate.
- Minimum block: the longer of the time worked and your minimum block, × your rate. A 45-minute job with a 2-hour block is billed as 2.00 hours.
- Flat fee: the amount you type. Times are not used.
- Mileage: miles × the per-mile rate you enter. It is left out until you enter a rate.
- Parking or tolls: added as typed.
- Total = fee + mileage + parking, rounded to the cent.
The sums follow the same rules as the Assignments tab in the Interpreter Business Kit, so you can use this page to double-check a line.
What it does not do
- It does one assignment at a time and does not remember anything.
- It does not apply cancellation fees, late fees, tax or any rate rules. Use the terms in your own agreement.
- It does not tell you what you may bill for travel or parking.
